Mr Doodle
The incredible Mr Doodle joins the London Mural Festival 2024 line up to add his signature doodle creations to a new mural on the Regent's Park Road Bridge in Camden.
Mr Doodle began covering the Earth's surface with doodles when he was born in 1994. During his career, Mr Doodle has constructed a visual phenomenon: his Doodle World, where he manifests his vision of the world, producing dense clusters of characters, objects and patterns that grow and multiply relentlessly. As a form of release or meditation, his process is fluid, therapeutic, un-calculated, and without hesitation, as if channeling directly from his world into ours with great stamina. He ultimately seeks to spread a sense of wonder, mayhem, and hope whilst seeking a greater understanding of his place in the universe.
Mr Doodle began to garner recognition in the art world in 2015 and has since seen a meteoric rise in interest in his work. The prolific artist now has a huge following on social media, and a newly released documentary The Trouble with Mr Doodle, exploring how his extraordinary doodle talent impacts other areas of his life.
“I really can’t wait to doodle this bridge in Camden. I want to capture a sense of the area and community within my artwork and hope that people have a ‘doodley-day' after seeing it! I'm excited to be creating the final mural as part of London Mural Festival 2024 and very much appreciate the support that Global Street Art and Camden Borough Council have given me in helping to make this happen.” Mr Doodle
