Woskerski has created a new, giant mural in Thamesmead, south-east London, for London Mural Festival 2024.
Born in 1983, Woskerski was first attracted to street art via graffiti, but he soon began to take interest in other styles of painting. With a background in design, he developed a versatile approach to his artistry, resulting in a unique painting style that is instantly recognisable.
His art integrates both reality and fantasy, often depicted in vivid and vibrant colours. The choice of ironic and seemingly absurd characters often carries a symbolic message. Woskerski aims to create artworks that are both aesthetically beautiful whilst also thought-provoking, often infusing his creations with humour and irony to spark conversation.
Woskerski’s mural was commissioned by Peabody housing association.
