Lucia Biancalana
Lucia Biancalana is an Italian illustrator and mural artist based in Brussels. She uses simple shapes and playful characters to create surreal scenarios and share powerful messages, always with a touch of humor and irony. She is the author of two illustrated books which explore the relationship between images and language. Her work spans across branding, advertising, murals, and publishing.
My work for the London Mural Fest will be a playful and colorful basketball court for kids: a space for connection through sport and an incentive to jump high, both with our feet and our imagination.
