Yorgos

Yorgos is a painter/street artist. He multi-cultural upbringing, dark materialism, gender inequalities, fear, and uncertainty in our world in crisis has inspired his work on human complexity. Rather than focusing on cognitive justifications and expressions, I follow human gestures, taking physical interactions as signs for meanings, emotions, and relations. Embracing the nakedness of the body as a symbol of vulnerability and authenticity adds another layer of depth to your exploration, stripping away the superficial trappings of societal norms to reveal the essence of humanity. It's a powerful approach that invites viewers to confront their own preconceptions and engage with the fundamental truths of our shared existence.

“My focus with this piece is on human equality and the harmony of all nations, using visual and symbolic elements to highlight our universal connections. My art serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of unity and equality, inspiring others to work toward these ideals.”
